On March 22 and 23rd, three members of the McPhee lab travelled to Carleton University for Ontario Biology Day. Daniel, Harnoor and Sofya presented their work on regulation of Shigella behaviour, antibiotic resistance in uropathogenic E. coli and regulation of LL-37 mediated killing in UPEC, respectively. The experience was a good one for everyone and Sofya even came home with some hardware, winning the Best Microbiology Presentation of the event. Congratulations Daniel, Harnoor and Sofya!
